Wunderbar

Last weekend was Oktoberfest at Wolff's Biergarten in Albany. I love Oktoberfest! A celebration of food and booze?! Sign me up. Plus October is an awesome month, my birthday is coming up soon.

OK, so it cost 7 clams to get in. Then, you have to buy booze tickets. And unfortunately, I did not like their choices of beers on tap. They smelled like old socks. Thankfully Wolff's was open & I purchased a cherry lambic. It was $12! The hell?

For lunch, SB had the schnitzel, French fries & kraut. I had knockwurst, mashed potatoes & beet salad. The beet salad was amazing, crisp & slightly acidic.

We also got free schwag! Gigantic cheap plastic beer steins & little teeny beer stein shot glasses.

We had a great time w/ my brother & sister-in-law, couldn't have had better weather. We'll be back next year, Wolff's!

Brats and beer. Two of the best parts of cooling weather.

I didn't see any mention of chicken-dancing though. You must have overlooked it, it's not oktoberfest without chicken dancing! ;-)

PorkStar: it was fun but I'm not much of a beer drinker :D

Lion: I don't do Chicken Dance!
