5. Have you ever been on a blind date? Yup, quite a few. Let me put it this way, you have to dig through a lot of dirt before you get to the treasure.
6. Are looks important? To a degree, I'm not vain but thank God SB is not butt.
7. Do you have any friends that you’ve known for 10 years or more? Yes, I play for keeps
8. By what age would you like to be married? I already am married, I was 35 at the time.
9. Does the number of people a person’s slept with affect your view of them? Not at all

11. Are you a good tipper? I think 20% is good for tips.
12. What’s the most you have spent for a haircut? My stylist is expensive, it's about $65 for a haircut
13. Have you ever had a crush on a teacher? Yes, when I spent a semester in Mexico. His name was Jose & he was only 5 years older than me. He liked my hair and hugged me!

And not a Day Wiser.....
It's my birthday today & I'm feeling pretty bummed actually. I have no money, feeling pretty isolated & just in the mood to celebrate.
Maybe my parents should not have given me such great birthdays when I was a kid, it's hard not to compare. Expectation always leads to disappointment. Life is suffering & the quicker I learn that the better off I shall be.
But then I saw this & I cheered up! So tomorrow, I'm going to shoot skee ball and have a quick drink @ Footsy Magoo's. Feel free to join me & the Beast.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

2. How do you make your PB & J? Bread: peanut butter on one side, jelly on the other.

4. Who makes the best peanut butter? I like the low fat organic kind or Peanut Peanut Butter Co.

1. What do you remember most about your 3rd grade teacher (if it's nothing, you are welcome to substitute any teacher you had in grades 1-5)? My 3rd grade teacher was Sue Chew. I iiked her, the epitome of what a 3rd grade teacher should be: big smile, patient as Job & made learning fun. Sometime after Easter of that year (1984) Mrs. Chew went out on maternity leave & was replaced by a horrid horrid substitute. Substitute was the sister of our principal, Sister Ann Marie. Substitute was a former nun & didn't know what the fuck she was doing! She had no teaching style, she wanted to be exactly Mrs. Chew.....she had the "Zelig" syndrome if you will. I learned nothing & my mother actually bitched her out on it! Thankfully, I got very ill & was out for the last 3 weeks of school.
2. Where did you meet your first love? Geology class, it was sloppy, crazy mess as most 1st loves are!
3. What kind of car did your parents have when you were in grade school? The car we had the longest was a grayish blue station wagon, my brothers & I nicknamed it the "Chuck Wagon". I loved to lay down in what we referred to as the back back.
4. Who did you look up to in elementary school? My brothers! I idolized them, wanted to be around them all the time, wanted to show them off to everyone in my class.
5. Who were the hot celebrity idols of your childhood? I loved Matt Dillon & George Michael. Matt was my 1st pin up & George was the 1st famous guy I wanted to marry.
6. What was the biggest clothing trend of your middle school years? Leggings and over sized sweaters....and fun socks. I had a ton of bright socks w/ adorable things sewn onto them.
7. Tell us something about your childhood that you just cannot figure out to this day. I was obsessed w/ finding "replicants". I thought certain people were actually lizard aliens.......these thoughts went into hyper-drive around my parents if they were being too nice.

1. If you were to go on a vacation next week, where would you go to? New Zealand.....check out some falls, drink too much, sleep on the beach
2. What was your favorite childhood vacation memory? AW! Camping at Martha's Vineyard when one could do so cheaply.....all day the beach, playing on tire swings, my oldest brother let me ride on his handlebars & went zooming around the campground, cheap eats at the Black Dog Cafe.
3. Would you or have you ever been on a vacation without your significant other? Yes, our first "vacation" was a long weekend to Vernon, NY
4. What is your worst vacation memory? I've never had a bad time on vacation...HOWEVER I had the worst flight home in the world from Seattle to LaGuardia, violent turbulence the entire 6 hours in the air. It was a red eye and I didn't sleep a wink.Then the commuter plane from NYC to Burlington, VT sat on the tarmac for what felt like an eternity and then the toilet overflowed & we sat around some more. Then I cried at the airport parking lot because I couldn't find my car. Not so good times!
5. Who would you love to take on vacation with you and where would you go? My oldest, dearest friend in the world to Italy to see the Sistine Chapel.
6. What is the biggest waste of money vacation you have ever heard of? I don't waste my money....EVER
