I've always dreamed of having a used bookstore in some cool downtown part of a city and living in the apartment on top of it.

#2 would be one helluva a store!
For awhile I was considering working in the food/restaurant business. There was an abandoned car showroom I would daydream about making over into a typical row of stores in France. The shops would all be connected, but separate. A butcher shop, cafe, French restaurant, and a Patisserie. I think it might have successful in that town.
Jon: I miss the old way of shopping, butcher fir meat, green market for fruits & veggie, bakery for bread. Le sigh!
I hear ya on the new businesses.... we are both still waiting for our "big idea"...
