Better Late than Pregnant

A very belated Christmas post.

Highlights of my favourite gifts:

Well, SB really did good! He got the deal o' the century when purchasing the new Kindle Touch. I finished the Hunger Games trilogy in a week, almost done w/ Matched series & have a new dystopian book on deck. Best of all, my county library now has e-books available. Ain't technology, grand?

My in-laws gave us the hook up w/ a brand new Fodor's guide to Costa Rica......our honeymoon destination next month. I learned my lesson when I bought a cheapie guide to Acapulco. Not all travel guides are created equal.

My middle brother is a preparing preparer. He and my s-i-l put a lot of time and research into the zumba swag they gifted to me....Zumba weights & 2 DVDs w/ 6 different work outs.

Hope everyone had a merry merry! Hopefully, I can get my head on straight in these next few weeks.

We've found that Fodor's guides are seriously awesome. Fortunately our local libraries tend to carry them, thereby saving us from having to purchase them.

Enjoy Costa Rica! We've never been, but have friends who go maybe three times a year. It's on our "eventual travel" list, whereas Boston is on our "hopefully soon travel" list. :)

I LOVED The Hunger Games.. I cannot wait for the movie to come out. I just hope they don't eff it up.
What did you think about the Matched series? I read the first one and didn't like it enough to read the second. And what's next on the list? I lovvvve dystopian novels. Have you ever read the Pretties series by Scott Westerfield? Interesting commentary on society in general. I highly suggest it!
